It has been an absolute mess/joy getting these songs recorded and released. these songs range anywhere from being 1-4 years old and it was just never the right time to put them out. Though since writing most of these songs I have changed a good amount as a writer and a performer, These songs have continued to be important to me for multiple reasons. writing Montreal Screwjob pushed me into the direction I am in now as a writer. The way it came Crashing down is the first I ever wrote that I was happy with once It was finished. Striped Sweater, though not purely optimistic, was the first time I opened up about someone I love very much. This Can't Be Good For Me is I think my best written song and writing it is what finally got me out of the deepest slump I have ever been in. Lastly, The Low was the first song of mine people ever cared about, I was still pretty young when it was written but was playing in bars and basements and this was the first song people every requested me to play, or asked me if it'd be in my set that particular, I remember playing in my friend's dorm and having every single person there singing the ending with me and just feeling so alive, of course I was happy but it went deeper than that, this was something that I sat down and created myself and I now had these people giving a shit about it and thats a really incredible feeling.

My biggest thank you goes to Jaclyn Elizabeth Heuser for recording, mixing, mastering, and producing this EP. We have sat in that tiny studio space for hours and hours working on this. She gave me so much of her time, feedback, and talent to help me with this and I could never thank her enough.

I'd like to think Paige Riley for helping me with the way it came crashing down, I remember coming to her with this song 3+ years ago asking for her help and i've appreciated it so much ever since

I'd like to thank Noah, Emily, Sam, Jeff, and Sarah for coming in to help with The Low. You guys have been so supportive with this silly project and I appreciate that so much.

Lastly i would just like to thank every friend, band, promoter, and listener who has given my their support and feedback. You all have been nothing less than wonderful.
